About

My interest in photography started at age 8 when I went with my father to drop off film (yes, film!) at the Foto Shack three blocks from where we lived.  He diligently filled out the envelope and placed the roll of film inside.  A week later we visited the shack again and viola! - our roll of film was transformed into tangible images that were neatly packaged in a plastic album - I was instantaneously hooked!  I flipped through the pages gleefully re-living each moment the pictures were taken.

I founded Robyn Basso Photography with the purpose of offering families an alternative to cookie cutter mall studios and ultra expensive boutique studios. 

My goal is to provide a quality product at a reasonable price, with superior customer service.  I also wanted to give clients the freedom and control to get unlimited prints at the lab of their choice. Which is why all packages include a CD with high resolution files of your images.

And since I don’t sell prints or work on a commission, you will never experience the hard sell to upgrade to a more expensive package. 

As a mother of two, I know how precious memories of your children's early years are.  I thank you in advance for giving me the opportunity to capture these moments.
